Junior High and High School Strings students will perform in their fall concert on Friday, November 9 at 7pm in the Conservatory Hall. Free admission.
OAE won second place in Class 1A competition, and took the caption awards for best general effect and best visual effect.
The high school and junior high choirs will perform in the sacred setting of the historical mission. Admission is free.

45 high school and 3 junior high students performed their show, "Chrome X," taking the top award in their division in both preliminaries and finals competition.
The JH group competed at Independence High School in their first ever Winter Percussion competition, a division of NC-PA - Northern California Percussion Alliance.
Celina Chen, Emily Luders, and Samantha Wu performed with the Honor Choir at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on March 17.
Online auditions for JH Advanced Band, Quest & Studio Band, Vocal Ensemble, and JH Worship Team are due April 13 for current students and new applicants to Valley Christian Junior High School.

Conservatory faculty and private lesson teachers will perform a showcase of talent for students and the Valley Christian community. Admission is free.
New students entering VCS dance should come to auditions for advanced classes. Junior High Dance Workshop, and High School Dance Technique 2, Dance Technique 3 , and Dance Technique 3 Honors, as well as Hip Hop 2 and 3 require auditions. See the article for dates and times.
88 students traveled to Folsom for the 29th annual festival, held on two campuses - Folsom High School in Folsom, CA and Rolling Hills Church in El Dorado Hills, CA. Over 140 middle school and high school jazz bands, vocal jazz choirs, and jazz combos competed. It is the largest jazz competition in California.
At the 2018 ACSI Solo/Ensemble Festival on January 27, hosted at the Valley Christian Conservatory, VCJH students earned high ratings.

Over 80 elementary, junior high and high school students from four Bay Area Christian schools participated in the event on Saturday, January 27, hosted by the Conservatory of the Arts for the twelfth consecutive year. Judges were professional educators and performers from the Bay Area.

Only 250 California Junior High singers were chosen from over 700 students who auditioned. Four students from Valley Christian Junior High were named.
